Film Con 2018: MARCH 24

Enjoy a day of all things film at Film Con this Saturday. It’s chock full of panels, competitions, workshops, and screenings. If you’re looking to get into the film industry, this event is an ideal networking opportunity. It will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Inclusion/Women panel, ‘Girls Rule Film Con Hollywood 2018,’ featuring Lisa Bloom (women’s civil rights attorney), Mandy Teefey (EP “13 Reasons Why” – NETFLIX), Jennifer Warren (Academy Award Winning Producer); a keynote address by Allen Maldonado (Blackish, Survivor’s Remorse); The legendary actor Chevy Chase with receive Lifetime TEA Award (Top Entertainment Award) of Distinction, Empowerment, and Inspiration and Emmy nominated actress Jillian Bell (22 Jump Street) will be also be presented a TEA Award. The full day of industry insider panels (executives from Gersh, Netflix, TCA, Amasia Entertainment, Gravitas Ventures, Buffalo 8, Three Point Capital, Bondit Media Capital), filmmaking (directors from Sundance’s A Boy, A Girl, A Dream and Angels & Outlaws); and screenwriting (writers from Girls, The Newsroom, The Affair).
