True Star Gazing: Griffith Observatory

It doesn’t get more iconic than the Griffith Observatory. It’s where they filmed James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and tons of tv shows and offers an unparalleled view of the Hollywood sign. The Observatory has been a must for decades to learn about astronomy, the planets, and science. This free venue offers enrichment to all ages. It opened in 1935 and one of the first institutions dedicated to educating the public for free.
